Accessibility Statement

EDUGATE EĞİTİM DANIŞMANLIK wants every student and family to be able to use this website, the application form and the student portal, whatever their ability, device or language.

Last updated: · Version: 2026-10-02.2

1. Our commitment

We build this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, in both the Arabic and English versions, including the application form and the student portal.

Important: This statement describes a good-faith implementation that we test ourselves. It is not a certified audit, and the site has not been assessed by an independent accessibility body.

2. What we have implemented

  • Keyboard navigation: every link, button, form field, menu and file upload can be reached and used without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link on every page.
  • Screen reader support: pages use proper headings, landmarks and lists; buttons and icons have text names; and changes such as form errors, upload progress and the current step of the application are announced.
  • Right-to-left support: Arabic pages are marked as Arabic and laid out right to left, English pages left to right, and mixed content such as phone numbers and reference codes is read in the correct direction.
  • Colour and contrast: text meets AA contrast ratios in both the light public pages and the dark student portal, and information such as an application status is never shown by colour alone — it always has text and an icon.
  • Forms: every field has a visible label, errors are written in text next to the field and linked to it, and the consent checkboxes are separate, labelled controls.
  • Reduced motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, animations are switched off.
  • Text alternatives: informative images have text alternatives, and decorative illustrations are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Zoom and small screens: pages reflow for mobile screens and remain usable when text is enlarged.
  • Sign-in without a password: the student portal uses a link sent to your email, so there is no password to remember or type.

3. How we test

Each page is checked in both languages with an automated accessibility testing tool (axe-core) against the WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules, and by hand with keyboard-only navigation. Automated tools cannot detect every barrier, and we have not tested with every assistive technology or browser combination.

4. Known limitations

  • Documents issued by others — such as acceptance letters, invoices or university forms in PDF — may not be accessible. Tell us and we will give you the information in another form.
  • WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok are separate services whose accessibility we do not control.
  • Some university photographs come from external sources and have only a short description.

5. Report a problem or ask for help

If something on this site does not work for you, or you need information or help with your application in a different way, please tell us. Let us know the page and what went wrong, and the device or assistive technology you use if you can. We aim to reply within 10 working days, and we can always take your application by WhatsApp, phone or email instead.
